Xeos awarded Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution contract

The Upper Ocean Process Group at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) have awarded a contract to Xeos Technologies to provide an Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD) solution for their Air-Sea Interaction METeorology (ASIMET) System. ASIMET is a sophisticated moored surface buoy and requires a self-contained Iridium/GPS monitor to provide emergency position location data and internally record GPS positions.
