Survivor Tag hits the open ocean

Xeos Technologies has been awarded a contract to develop a prototype Archival Tag suitable for determining mortallity of Pelagic species after release. The Survivor Tag is being developed for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and will be available in 2007. The Survivor Tag will be a miniture transmitter capable of measuring animal movement over a one month period.
